South Georgia's Bankruptcy Attorneys — Father, Son, and 55 Years of Experience Between Them

Woodall & Woodall has practiced bankruptcy law exclusively in south Georgia for over three decades, handling cases in the Valdosta and Albany divisions of the middle district — because this is where we're from, and this is where our clients are.

Two Attorneys. Deep Roots. 25,000 Cases.

When you're facing wage garnishment, foreclosure, or a debt you can't see a way out of, you don't need a national call center or a firm that treats your case as a file number. You need attorneys who know this court, this community, and what it actually takes to get relief under Georgia law. That's what Woodall & Woodall has delivered to more than 25,000 clients across south Georgia — and it's what we'll bring to your case.

Meet Orson Woodall

Orson Woodall has spent his career doing one thing: helping people in south Georgia get out from under debt they can no longer carry. He has practiced bankruptcy law for decades, building a case volume and a reputation that few attorneys in this region can match. His knowledge of the middle district — the courts, the trustees, the procedural landscape — comes from years of showing up and doing the work.

Orson is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), the primary professional organization for consumer bankruptcy practitioners in the United States. NACBA membership signals a commitment to staying current in a practice area where the law and the courts are always moving. He is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in good standing and holds a BBB A+ rating.

What clients remember about Orson is that he has seen everything — and that when he tells you it's going to be okay, he has the case history to back it up.

Meet Will Woodall

Will Woodall grew up watching his father build a practice on a simple idea: treat every client like someone who deserves a straight answer and a return phone call. He joined the firm and brought that same standard with him.

Will handles Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases across the middle district, working alongside Orson to make sure clients have two experienced attorneys engaged in their cases — not a senior partner and a rotating associate. He is a member of NACBA and is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in good standing.

Clients who come to Woodall & Woodall get both of us. That's the point.

Why a Father-and-Son Firm Is Different

Most law firms grow by adding attorneys and building overhead. We grew by taking more cases and staying in Valdosta. No competitor in south Georgia can claim what we can: a family practice built over three decades in the same community, with the same commitment to the same clients.

That continuity matters when you're in financial crisis. You're not being handed off. You're not starting over with someone new. You're working with attorneys who have practiced together for years and whose professional reputations depend on the outcome of your case — because in a community this size, reputation is everything.

We Return Every Call Timely

Bankruptcy is a time-sensitive practice. A wage garnishment order can strip your paycheck before you've had a chance to respond. A foreclosure notice has a deadline attached to it. Waiting two days to hear back from your attorney isn't a minor inconvenience — it can cost you real options.

We return every call in a timely manner. That's not a marketing line. It's a commitment we've maintained because we understand what's at stake when someone picks up the phone and calls a bankruptcy attorney.

Credentials You Can Verify

Every credential we list is one you can confirm independently. We include them because trust in a bankruptcy attorney isn't built on a website — it's built on a record.
